Dear The Journey of Life: 100 Lessons from Around the World Interviewees,
The time has finally arrived The Journey of Life: 100 Lessons from
Around the World to go to print!!! The 6x6 hardcover book includes
colorful tidbits of wisdom, insight, and life experiences from people
of all walks of life from around the world—including all of you. I met
some of you while traveling the world, others on the dance floor, and
others through chance and random encounters. I am fortunate to still
have some of you in my life as friends, colleagues and mentors, and
blessed to have had the chance to cross paths with all of you. In the
same way that each of your stories and lives have inspired me, I am
confident that they will inspire others from throughout the world and
contribute to the cause of unity. I am including important information
about the publishing model, promotion of books, and options for you as
interviewees featured in the book below. The books can be preordered
at www.interculturalencounters.com until July 1.
Publishing/release details: This book is being published by Channel
Trade Editions in collaboration with Intercultural Encounters (a
non-profit organization promoting positive intercultural interactions
and alliances through the publication of books and the promoting of
cultural arts from around the world). In the hope of creating ripple
effects with this project, I will be collaborating and sharing some of
the proceeds with Project Ahimsa (a global non-profit that directly
empowers youth through music). I am also in the midst of developing
proposals to bring the book, along with culturally themed
celebrations, enabling people to experience global music, dance, food
and instruments, to communities throughout the country.
Details for Interviewees/collaboration opportunities:
I would be happy to collaborate with any of you who would be
interested in hosting a release party in conjunction with an event or
an activity of your liking. Although The Journey of Life: 100 Lessons
from Around the World will be retailed in stores for $16.95, I am
selling individual copies for $9.95 and bulk orders of 10 or more at a
larger discount www.interculturalencounters.com until July 1. If any
of you would like to use this as a fundraiser or a product in a
business, you have permission to resell the discounted books purchased
at interculturalencounters.com at the retail price. I am hoping to
hold one large release party (with dancing, music, etc.) specifically
for the interviewees, and their friends and family. Please watch
